Job summary

The Heineken Beverages operation in Wadeville is seeking a Cellar Supervisor to lead the cellar team in blending high-quality products and overseeing bulk stock. You will ensure adherence to specifications, coordinate daily tasks, and maintain quality management documentation.

You should have a Diploma in a relevant science/engineering field, with leadership experience and a focus on problem solving, teamwork, and driving TPM-based improvements. Knowledge of spirits and wines is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in food technology/food sciences/microbiology/biochemistry/chemistry/Engineering.
• Knowledge of spirits and wines advantageous.
• Experience in managing and leading a team essential.
• Experience in managing an MDT area essential.
• Ability to work independently, identify and solve problems and make relevant decisions.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the necessary departments concerning production planned.
• Planning and coordinating of daily tasks.

• Oversee that the right filtration material is used for the right product.
• Management of finance, quality, and hygiene internal controls.
• Management of cellar process according to TPM [Total Productivity Management] Standard.
