The role requires shift work, strong communication, and reliable transport, with 2 years in a control room or CCTV environment and PSIRA registration. Fluency in English and fault-finding knowledge of Hikvision systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate and PSIRA Grade A/B.
• Valid CCTV and Control Room certification; First Aid and Fire Fighting training.
• Minimum 2 years in a Control Room or CCTV Monitoring environment; incident management experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV feeds and surveillance platforms to identify incidents.
• Respond to security incidents, coordinate appropriate actions and preserve evidence.
• Ensure incidents are managed according to SOPs and shift requirements.

Fidelity Security Group (Pty) Ltd is looking for a vigilant, professional and service-oriented CCTV Controller to join our team.

Purpose of the Position

The CCTV Controller is responsible for protecting company sites, personnel, assets, resources, and operations through the effective monitoring of CCTV, surveillance, and electronic security systems.

The incumbent will actively monitor live camera feeds and surveillance platforms, identify and respond to security incidents, suspicious activities and operational risks, coordinate appropriate responses, preserve and gather evidence, and ensure incidents and emergencies are managed in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The role requires a highly vigilant, professional, and service-oriented individual capable of maintaining concentration for extended periods while operating within a fast-paced control room environment. The CCTV Controller must also possess a strong understanding of CCTV technology, camera health monitoring, and technical fault identification.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
