Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Catering Operations Manager for Kimberley, Northern Cape. You will oversee all day-to-day catering operations, menu planning, procurement, staff leadership, and event execution, ensuring quality and profitability.

The role requires 6+ years in catering/hospitality with 3+ in a senior role, strong financial acumen, and a track record of high-volume events. Based in Kimberley, relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in catering/hospitality ops with 3+ years in a senior role.
• Proven track record in high-volume catering events and operations.
• Strong leadership, financial acumen, and client service focus.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day catering operations and service quality.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and boost profitability.
• Lead and mentor the catering team; foster collaboration and accountability.
• Oversee procurement, inventory, and supplier relationships.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed.
• Collaborate with sales and culinary teams for events.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and P&L for the division.
