Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Catering Event Coordinator in Kimberley to plan and execute a range of catering events with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional client service.

You will be the main contact for clients, coordinating menus, staffing and logistics, liaising with vendors and on-site teams, and managing timelines and budgets from inquiry to post-event follow-up. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in catering.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication for effective client interaction.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends in Kimberley.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menu selection, staffing, and logistics.
• Serve as main client contact, provide timely updates.
• Liaise with on-site teams and vendors for smooth execution.
• Develop event plans and timelines, manage resources.
• Manage event budgets and process invoices.
• Conduct client consultations and debriefings to ensure satisfaction.
