Placements24 in Nelspruit is seeking a meticulous Catering Equipment and Logistics Manager to oversee catering equipment, inventory, and delivery logistics. You will ensure equipment is available, maintained, and delivered to events safely and efficiently.

You will manage inventory systems, coordinate with operations and culinary teams, and oversee a fleet of vehicles to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing routes and costs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics management, supply chain, or operations, preferably in catering or events.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Experience managing vehicle fleets and driver schedules.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve logistical challenges effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant software for logistics and inventory tracking in Nelspruit.

Responsibilities

• Manage the inventory, maintenance, and repair of all catering equipment, including vehicles.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics plans for the delivery and retrieval of equipment to event sites.
• Oversee stock levels and ensure adequate supplies are available for all scheduled events.
