Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Catering Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of supplies, equipment and staff for events in Mahikeng. You will coordinate deliveries, setups and roadmaps with suppliers and in-house teams to ensure flawless execution across venues and timelines.

This hands-on role requires strong planning, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt under pressure. You will optimize inventory, monitor schedules and support event managers to deliver high standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, preferably within catering or hospitality.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management and scheduling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery and setup of catering equipment, food, and beverages to event venues.
• Manage inventory of catering supplies and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Liaise with suppliers to schedule deliveries and manage orders efficiently.
• Work closely with the culinary and event management teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Oversee transportation logistics for staff and equipment as required.
