Job summary

Tsebo Solutions Group is seeking a energetic Cashier to join our TsAfrika/Tsebo standards team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include accurate POS transactions, cash handling, and delivering a positive customer experience while maintaining hygiene standards in a catering/hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate.
• 2-3 years working experience is an asset.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills are required.
• Experience in a Catering or hospitality environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Process cash, card, and voucher transactions.
• Balance cash float at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Issue receipts and ensure correct pricing at all times.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and hygienic cashier area.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• Handle customer queries and elevate issues when required.
• Adhere to food safety, health, and safety standards.
• Follow TsAfrika and Tsebo policies, procedures, and controls.
• Support catering team during peak periods when required.
• Greet customers and provide excellent service.
• Assist with light stocking and merchandising when needed.
