Job summary

Candidates should have Grade 12 with Maths or Accounting and 1–3 years of cash-handling experience. The position requires strong numerical skills, computer literacy, teamwork, and flexibility for night shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Mathematics or Accounting.
• 1–3 years cash handling/teller experience preferred.
• Strong numerical and financial principles.
• Proficient computer literacy and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, team-based environment.
• Flexibility for night shifts and weekends.
• Physical ability to lift/move heavy containers and trolleys.
• Security-conscious with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process currency bags and containers.
• Distribute assets to designated processing areas.
• Complete receipting and documentation accurately.
• Balance and reconcile daily transactions.
• Verify currency bag information.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Process customer deposits securely and promptly.
• Prepare customer coin and cash orders.
• Operate high-speed currency processing equipment.
• Identify and report cash discrepancies promptly.
• Sort and verify bulk currency and coin.
• Balance transaction totals and bulk funds.
