Attorney Assistant is seeking a detail-oriented Case Manager to support a U.S.-based personal injury firm with case coordination, client communication, scheduling, and medical or insurance-related tasks.

Ideal candidates will have experience in personal injury, legal case management, and scheduling, plus strong writing skills. This remote role requires a private home workspace, a second monitor, and the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in personal injury, legal case management, medical-related work, insurance, or a closely related support role.
  • Experience with medical or insurance-related work and scheduling.
  • Experience coordinating appointments, follow-ups, calendars, or case-related schedules.
  • Strong professional writing skills with clear grammar, spelling, and written communication.
  • Clear and legible handwriting when handwritten documentation is required.
  • Strong organizational and case management skills.
  • Professional client communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases, appointments, and priorities at the same time.
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote environment.
  • Must have a second monitor and a private workspace.
  • Must be willing to provide writing samples during the hiring process

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day coordination and management of personal injury cases.
  • Communicate with clients regarding case updates, appointments, information, and next steps.
  • Coordinate medical appointments, schedules, follow-ups and case-related activities.
  • Work with medical and insurance-related information throughout the case process.
  • Maintain accurate case records, notes, documents, and follow-up items.
  • Track appointments, pending requests, deadlines, and outstanding case information.
  • Prepare clear and professional written communications and case-related documentation.
  • Follow up with clients, medical providers, insurance contacts, and other parties as needed.
  • Keep the legal team informed of case progress, scheduling needs, and outstanding items.
  • Help ensure cases remain organized and continue moving through stages

Overview

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Case Manager to support a U.S.-based personal injury law firm with case coordination, client communication, scheduling, and medical or insurance-related case support.

The strongest candidates will have experience working with medical or insurance-related matters and handling scheduling responsibilities. Strong professional writing skills are also important, as this role involves written communication, case documentation, and ongoing coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule, Compensation, and Benefits
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time
  • Starts at $7 USD/hour, with a possibility of a pay increase from a performance evaluation
  • Must have a reliable device, stable internet connection, second monitor, and private, quiet remote work setup.
  • PTO, referral incentives, and bonuses where applicable
