• Excellent client-facing and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team under pressure.
• Proficiency with event planning software and standard office apps.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, weekends and public holidays.

Responsabilités

• Oversee planning and execution of diverse catering events from intimate to large-scale in Cape Town.
• Collaborate with clients to design customized menus considering dietary needs and budgets.
• Manage event staffing, ensuring adequate personnel are scheduled and trained.
• Coordinate with vendors for rentals, entertainment and related services.
• Maintain attention to detail in event setup, service flow and teardown.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation and service standards at events.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify improvements.
• Manage inventory of catering supplies and equipment; ensure stock levels.
• Adhere to health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior catering staff.
