Job summary

Trivelta is expanding its Cape Town presence and seeks a data-driven Operations leader to own local market performance. You will translate market needs into product improvements, oversee payments and risk controls, and partner with global teams to drive scale.

You will build and lead the local team, optimize customer lifecycle, and report on KPIs such as acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue. This role blends strategic direction with hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading operations in high growth digital businesses such as fintech/SaaS/e-commerce.
• Experience optimizing customer lifecycle, CRM, payment operations, and fraud prevention.
• Strong analytical skills with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or QuickSight. SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Trivelta's digital products and customer journeys, identifying opportunities to improve usability, conversion, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Serve as the operational bridge between local market needs and internal teams by identifying product improvements, reporting customer pain points, validating new features, and ensuring successful market launches.
• Continuously monitor operational performance and recommend enhancements based on customer behavior, business metrics, and market trends.
• Leadership & Market Ownership: As Managing Director for Cape Town, take full ownership of the local office, building and leading the team as the market grows, acting as the primary contact between Cape Town operations and global leadership.
