The role requires 5–6 years HR experience, with at least 4 years as an HR Generalist. Residency in Cape Town is mandatory; a SA ID and clean criminal record are required.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years in HR with at least 4 years as HR Generalist.
• MIBCO HR/IR expertise is mandatory.
• Cape Town resident with SA ID and clean criminal record.
• SAGE People 300 experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage IR relationships with unions, staff reps, and bargaining councils (MIBCO/CCMA/DRC).
• Lead recruitment, job profiles with KPIs, and staffing aligned with EE targets.
• Maintain PMS data, monitor KPIs, and generate HR reports.
• Coordinate training, learnerships, SETA applications, WSP/ATR.
• Oversee HR admin, payroll documentation, POPIA compliance, and headcount reporting.
• Assist in Employment Equity planning and BEE documentation.
• Conduct background checks and reference verifications on shortlisted candidates.
