Acumen Group is seeking an experienced Financial Manager (CA(SA)) to take full responsibility for the finance function and provide strategic financial leadership to the executive team in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

The role covers monthly reporting, budgeting, cash management, tax compliance, internal controls, and risk management. You will lead a finance team and support strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Chartered Accountant (SA) with SAICA registration.
• 5-7 years post-qualification experience in a senior financial management role.
• Experience in Manufacturing and/or Packaging industry.
• Experience managing external audits.

Aufgaben

• Full responsibility for the company's financial records and reporting.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports, management accounts, and performance analysis to executive management and the Board.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Manage cash flow, treasury functions, banking relationships, and foreign exchange exposure.
• Oversee debtors, creditors, payroll, and working capital management.
• Assume responsibility for all tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, and Provisional Tax.
• Coordinate and manage the annual external audit process.
• Maintain and monitor internal controls, financial policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Manage the company's insurance portfolio and business risk strategy.
• Oversee BBBEE reporting and annual verification processes.
• Evaluate capital expenditure projects and maintain fixed asset registers.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across the business.
