Job summary

Takealot.com, South Africa's leading online retailer, seeks a Business Management Intern to join with a strong analytics and reporting focus. You will assist with recruitment tasks, collect and interpret data, and prepare dashboards and stakeholder presentations in a fast-paced environment.

This 18-month internship offers exposure to cross-functional teams and practical experience across multiple business areas within Takealot Group.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily recruitment tasks including lead validations and scheduling.
• Collect, analyse, interpret and present operational data to support decisions.
• Prepare clear reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT and Safety teams.
• Monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities and actions.
• Support problem-solving initiatives by identifying root causes and solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

N6 Certificate in Business Management or any related course

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with daily driver recruitment tasks ie, lead validations, lead scheduling, lead management
• Collect, analyse, interpret, and present operational / recruitment data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Assist in preparing clear reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Facilities, and Health & Safety.
• Assist the Team Leader to Monitor operational performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in identifying improvement opportunities and corrective actions.
• Participate in problem-solving initiatives by identifying root causes, proposing practical solutions, and supporting implementation.

This is an 18-month contract position
