Job summary

Agrimark Operations Ltd, a growth-focused agri-retail business and part of KAL Group, seeks an IM Business Analyst to analyse and document processes, identify inefficiencies, and translate requirements for application and technical teams.

You will bridge business and IT, understand system capabilities and data flows, and drive automation and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or information systems.
• Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.

The Role

As IM Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and documenting processes, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation, and translating requirements into clear specifications for application and technical teams. The Business Analyst also proactively identifies opportunities to use technology, automation, data and emerging technologies to improve business processes, efficiency and user experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Business Analysis & Process Management: Understand and analyse business processes within the assigned area, documenting current ("as-is") processes, identifying inefficiencies, risks, duplication and opportunities for improvement, and designing optimised ("to-be") processes.
• Requirements Analysis: Engage with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate these into clear, structured business, functional and system requirements for application and technology teams.
• Business to Technology Translation: Act as the link between the business and IM, translating business processes and requirements into technology concepts that can be understood and implemented by developers, application specialists, vendors and other technical teams.
• Application & Systems Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of the organisation's business applications, system capabilities, integrations and data flows, and assess how existing technology can support business requirements and process improvements.
• Solution Analysis & Design: Analyse potential technology solutions and work with application and technical teams to define practical solutions that align with business requirements, enterprise architecture, application strategy and the broader technology roadmap.
• Application Development & Change: Lead or facilitate the analysis, requirements definition, solution design, testing and documentation activities required for application changes, enhancements and new solutions.
• Optimisation & Automation: Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and digitise business processes using applications, workflow, data, integration, AI and other emerging technologies to improve efficiency, quality and user experience.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, application teams, developers, vendors and other technical teams to ensure requirements are understood, solutions are fit for purpose, and changes deliver the intended business outcomes.
• Innovation: Proactively identify and evaluate new technologies and innovative approaches that can improve business processes, solve business problems and create opportunities for the organisation.
• Continuous Improvement: Support the ongoing optimisation of business applications and processes, ensuring that solutions remain aligned with changing business requirements, technology capabilities and the organisation's application roadmap and strategy.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems).
• A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience.
