Job summary

IGNITEBYTE DIGITAL (PTY) LTD is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a website and digital platform redevelopment project. You will bridge business stakeholders, UX/UI, development and QA, translating needs into actionable requirements for delivery.

You will run stakeholder interviews, document complex requirements, write user stories with acceptance criteria, and help shape sitemap, IA and API integrations, ensuring UAT alignment across teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates experience as a Business Analyst on website, CMS, digital platform or software projects.
• Strong requirements-gathering and analysis skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Strong documentation and technical-writing abilities.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience using Miro, FigJam or similar workshop tools.
• Knowledge of BPMN and business process modelling.
• Basic SQL and data knowledge.
• Understanding of website architecture, CMS functionality and API integrations.
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 accessibility requirements.
• Understanding of POPIA and data-protection considerations.
• Experience supporting UAT and QA processes.

About the Role

Qualification
