Salary: Market‑related (R75,000 – R90,000 per month CTC, depending on experience)

Job Purpose: An established company in the materials handling and industrial equipment sector is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead a high‑performing team, drive sales growth, and oversee all operational and financial aspects of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees, including the management team.
• Set clear performance objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct evaluations.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.

Sales and Business Development

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and cultivating relationships with potential clients.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.

Operational Management

• Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations, including inventory, order processing, and logistics.
• Monitor and analyse branch performance metrics, including sales reports, financial statements, and inventory levels.
• Implement efficient processes and best practices to maximise productivity and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Financial Management

• Develop and manage the branch budget, including revenue forecasting and expense control.
• Monitor financial performance and implement measures to achieve profitability targets.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimise financial resources.

Customer Service

• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the customer service team to improve service delivery and resolve customer issues.

• Proven experience in a branch or operations management role in sales‑driven or industrial equipment environments.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
