Job summary

Bidvest Protea Coin is seeking a vigilant Branch Safety and Compliance Officer to manage HSEQ files, prepare monthly reports, and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and Firearms SOPs across sites. You will liaise with clients, supervise staff, and conduct site visits to uphold safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds PSIRA Grade A, Grade 12, and relevant certificates; you must communicate clearly in English, be adaptable to long hours, and possess a valid firearm competency, Regulation 21, and

Qualifications

• PSIRA Grade A certification is required.
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Diploma/ Degree will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients and safety officers to ensure compliance.
• Maintain HSEQ files and client files in collaboration with sites.
• Submit monthly reports, inspections, and training statistics to Health & Safety Department.
• Assist in achieving ISO 9001 requirements and maintain service quality.
• Conduct branch self-audits for Health & Safety, ISO 9001 and Firearms Compliance.
• Ensure induction and training records are up to date; maintain evidence.
