Job summary

Combined Motor Holdings Limited in Midrand seeks an Accountant – National Workshop Equipment Midrand to oversee financial accounting and reporting at the branch. You will uphold financial governance of two branches and liaise with the General Manager and department heads.

A B Com degree is required, managerial experience is an advantage, and a valid driver’s license is essential. This is a full-time role with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate monthly management accounts and financial statements by setting deadlines.
• Perform general ledger recons and ensure accuracy of all postings.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including debtors, creditors and inventory.
• Monitor expenses and income to ensure alignment with budget.
• Monitor branch cashflow and oversee branch handling and cash controls.
• Support auditors (Internal and external) and assist in resolving audit queries.
