Job summary

Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd is seeking a Branch Accountant for a client in Kempton Park to manage financial statements, IFRS reporting and branch controls.

You will oversee fixed assets, debtors and creditors, perform reconciliations, stock management, and oversee the general ledger while ensuring deadlines and policy adherence.

Lead junior staff, drive improvements in parts distribution finances and maintain strong internal controls in a fast-paced motor industry environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level accounting knowledge required.
• Experience in motor industry preferred.
• Post Graduate accounting degree advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate reports and IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Control fixed assets, debtors and creditors.
• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies on time.
• Reconcile stock and manage stock processes.
• Oversee daily, weekly and monthly journals and general ledger entries.
• Review vehicle stock counts and monitor branches finances.
