Placements24 is seeking an Event Chef for a high-end boutique catering company serving Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will perform hands-on preparation and execution of exquisite cuisine for private and corporate events, including weddings and special occasions.

Working with head chef and event planners, you will ensure top-quality food and presentation, adhere to safety standards, and adapt to dynamic event schedules.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef or Cook, with catering or event-based roles highly preferred.
• Demonstrated practical cooking skills and knowledge of various culinary techniques.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as dictated by event schedules.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be based in or able to travel to events throughout the Mossel Bay, Western Cape region.
• Culinary qualification is advantageous.
• A passion for creating delicious and visually appealing food.
