The Key Purpose of this role is to operate the maltings work tower processes, while executing maintenance and asset care activities in support of the Maltings Technician Artisan and carry out quality control checks.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Shift Based Production Performance and Processes:
- Operate designated plant and equipment
- Monitor specific production processes on shift
- Ensure process quality and productivity
- Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Co-ordinate autonomous maintenance, cleaning and inspections
- Taking silo dips
- Loading by product trucks & road trucks
- Knowledge of Scada, Grafana, MES, SPLAN and relevant digital tools
Shift Team performance:
- Communicate effectively in the workplace
- Contribute to self and team development
- Autonomous Teams
- Knowledge of 5S
Perform Administration:
- Ensure application of administration systems and procedures

- Apply problem solving and decision-making techniques and principles

Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in Science / Engineering
- 3-year Degree in Science or Engineering
- Barley Grading Certificate (advantageous)
- Rail Shunting Certificate (advantageous)
- CAP/SKAP training completed and summative assessed within 12 months
