Qualifications

• Minimum 2 - 5 years financial experience, preferable in the Motor Industry
• Bookkeeping to Trial Balance, Debtors, Creditors, Recons, General Ledger
• Correct accounting treatment - accruals, payments made in advance, debtors, creditors
• Allocate and post financial transaction details to accounting software
• Transfer data to general ledgers
• Reconcile and balance all accounts
• Assist in drawing up financial statements
• Good understanding of VAT Act
• Support: Petty cash allocations on job orders
• Assist with both Service Advisor and Warranty Clerk admin duties

Responsibilities

• Bookkeep to trial balance, manage debtors and creditors, and perform reconciliations
• Post financial transactions to accounting software and transfer to ledgers
• Reconcile and balance accounts and assist in drafting financial statements
• Apply VAT rules and manage petty cash allocations on job orders
• Assist with service advisor and warranty clerk administrative tasks
