Job summary

Kerry Kopp Consulting invites applications for a mid-career trades specialist in Durban, South Africa. The role focuses on extrusion blow moulding manufacturing, machine setup, process optimization and tooling management to keep production efficient.

You will report to the Plant Manager and work dayshift with on-call duties. Own transport is essential to fulfil on-site responsibilities, including HDPE/PP processing considerations and mould changes.

Qualifications

• N3 plus completed Trade Test required; diplomas not considered.
• Experience in Injection or preferred Blowmoulding manufacturing.
• Must be on dayshift with on-call duties and report to Plant Manager.
• Own transport is essential.
• Ability to optimize processes and solve production issues.

Responsibilities

• Machine setup, process optimization, troubleshooting and mould changes.
• Maintenance and tooling management for extrusion blow moulding.
• Work across mechanical, electrical, millwright or toolmaker trades as needed.
• Understand HDPE and PP processing characteristics.
