Mayfly Agri is seeking a seasoned professional to lead commercial excellence in its biologicals portfolio. You will translate strategic goals into field plans, align technical positioning with commercial messaging, and drive demand through targeted campaigns.

You will oversee on-farm trials, communicate results to stakeholders, and collaborate with R&D, marketing, and supply chain to ensure successful product positioning and delivery across South Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field.
• 7-10 years in Agriculture/Agri-Inputs with bio-stimulants or soil health exposure.
• Experience in commercial/technical/product management in agriculture.
• Strong crop production knowledge, especially row crops.
• Ability to interpret data, run or oversee field trials, translate to commercial outcomes.
• Experience training sales teams and agronomists.
• Strong market/industry knowledge in SA agriculture.
• Customer relationship and stakeholder engagement with farmers and partners.
• Results-driven with commercial acumen and problem-solving ability.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsabilités

• Lead implementation of commercial excellence frameworks across the biologicals business.
• Ensure alignment between technical positioning and commercial messaging of biological products.
• Design and execute demand generation programmes to increase awareness, trial, and usage of biological products.
• Support and oversee on-farm trials, demonstrations, and validation with internal stakeholders.
• Interpret field trial data, validate product performance, and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Agronomy Manager to develop technical campaigns and grower-focused messaging.
• Serve as technical expert and contact for customers by delivering agronomic recommendations.
• Provide tailored technical and commercial solutions to key accounts and address challenges.
• Drive adoption of biological products by identifying barriers and implementing solutions.
• Develop tools and best practices to support product use.
• Train and upskill sales teams and agronomists on biological products.
