Agricruitment is seeking a regional Biospecialist leader based in Pretoria, preferably in the greater Gauteng area. The role focuses on guiding the Biospecialists team across northern and central regions, aligning with company policies and objectives to drive sustainable sales growth, strengthen market presence and expand market access.

The primary crop focus includes row crops such as maize, soya, sunflowers and potatoes, with citrus and table grapes as regional emphasis in leadership.

Location: Preferably residing in the greater Gauteng area, specifically Pretoria

Purpose of the role:

To provide leadership, guidance and support to the Biospecialists team in this northern and central region, ensuring alignment with company policies, commercial objectives and best practices. The incumbent is accountable for driving sustainable sales growth, strengthening market presence and expanding market access across the region. The team’s focus is mainly on row crops, which include maize, soya, sunflowers and potatoes.

Secondly the person will be responsible for commercial growth, regional strategy, distributor sales and in-field technical support, and regional BioSpecialist leadership in the Loskop Valley, Limpopo, as determined by business priorities. The main individual crop focus will be on citrus and table grapes.

Key competencies required:

• A confident individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Technical marketing and sales experience in the South African agricultural industry.

• Minimum of a BSc in Agriculture.
• Ten to fifteen years of experience in business development and management.
• Excellent proficiency in Afrikaans (read, speak and present) required
• Exceptional ability to influence and lead change in existing Integrated CropProtection Management programs
• Experience with biological solutions will be an advantage.
• Performance-driven and influential, with a strong sense of self-discipline, integrity and excellence.
• Regional travel required.
