Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of agronomy and irrigation is essential.
  • Proficient in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken).
  • Willing to travel extensively and stay overnight as required.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in computer applications and technology.
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with good communication across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement seasonal trials.
  • Plan trial layouts.
  • Evaluate trials.
  • Present data to Product Development.
  • Maintain regular contact with Sales Representatives and clients to ensure trials are managed and evaluated on time.
  • Pack and ship trial seeds.
  • Manage crops.
  • Develop crop and variety sales strategies.
  • Implement crop strategies.
  • Maintain crops and variety knowledge.
  • Train Sales Representatives on Product Development.
  • Provide technical support.
