Placements24 is seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to join the Stellenbosch team. You will develop and manage Building Information Models for architectural projects using Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.

The role requires collaboration with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders in a hybrid work setting. The ideal candidate has proven BIM modeling experience, strong knowledge of architectural design, and detail-oriented organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler or similar role.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential.
• Familiarity with Navisworks is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of architectural design and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models from design drawings and specifications using Revit.
• Ensure model accuracy, consistency, and adherence to BIM standards.
• Coordinate models with structural and MEP disciplines to resolve clashes.
• Generate drawings, schedules, and reports from the BIM model as required.
• Assist in developing and maintaining BIM content libraries.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled BIM Modeler to join their team in Stellenbosch . This role involves creating and managing Building Information Models for various architectural projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to produce high-quality 3D models and associated data. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models from design drawings and specifications using Revit.
• Ensure model accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project BIM standards and templates.
• Coordinate models with other disciplines (structural, MEP) to identify and resolve clashes.
• Generate drawings, schedules, and reports from the BIM model as required.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM content libraries.
• Support project teams by providing BIM-related technical assistance and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler or similar role.
