Job summary

Fidelity Services Group is seeking a Billing Specialist to ensure accurate, timely invoicing in SAP from Roodepoort, South Africa. The role requires SAP Billing experience and a minimum of three years in billing, with strong Excel skills and numerical accuracy.

You will process invoices, prepare reports, manage accounts receivable and coordinate with multiple departments to resolve discrepancies, while maintaining filing systems and supporting ad-hoc finance projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices daily/weekly/monthly.
• Prepare billing reports and assist in periodic financial reporting.

• Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and filing systems.

Reporting to: Billing Manager

Purpose of the position: The overall purpose is to ensure that accurate, timely invoices are raised in SAP

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Matric Certificate
• Minimum 3 years of billing experience essential
• SAP Billing experience essential
• Computer Literate – excel essential

Job Function:

• Process invoices daily/weekly/monthly
• Proactive identification of simplification/automation opportunities
• Process credit memos
• To participate in various ad-hoc projects where necessary
• Preparation of Billing reports

• Prepare and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Manage accounts receivable, monitoring payments and following up on outstanding invoices.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in billing procedures.
• Maintain filing systems for all billing-related documents to ensure easy access and accuracy.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
