Job summary

Belay Talent Solutions in Johannesburg is seeking a Bid Office Manager to lead the end-to-end bid lifecycle, coordinating technical, sales, finance, legal and executive stakeholders to deliver compliant, on-time tender submissions.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in bid/tender management, strong SA tender process knowledge, and advanced MS Office skills, with on-site work and a focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' bid, proposal, or tender management experience.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing multiple bids under tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of South African tender processes, including SCM, SBD forms, CSD, B-BBEE, and tax compliance.
• Advanced MS Office and excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage bid sourcing, qualification, planning, development, reviews, approvals, submission, and feedback.
• Maintain bid pipelines, calendars, compliance matrices, and submission records.
• Coordinate technical, sales, finance, legal, and executive stakeholders across multiple bids.
• Perform rigorous quality assurance, compliance checks, and document control.
• Ensure tender compliance, including SBD forms, CSD, SARS tax status, B-BBEE, pricing schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Oversee electronic and hard-copy submissions, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
• Maintain content libraries, drive continuous improvement, and report on bid performance and win rates.
