Placements24 seeks a high-caliber Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic retail accounts from Benoni, Gauteng. You will build strong relationships with major retail partners, drive sales performance, ensure optimal product distribution and visibility, and collaborate with marketing, supply chain and finance teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in key account management, FMCG retail preferred.
• Proven track record of growing large retail accounts.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Based in Benoni or willing to travel extensively from Benoni.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
• Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key retail buyers and decision-makers.
• Negotiate trading terms, promotions, and shelf space agreements.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and challenges for key accounts.
• Ensure optimal product availability, assortment, and in-store execution across assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Present product and category performance reviews to clients.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform account strategies.
• Manage the forecasting and order process for key accounts.
