Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to lead strategic retail partnerships in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will drive sales, optimize product placement, and oversee promotions with major grocery and retail chains, building lasting client relationships and delivering growth for our clients' brands.

In this role you will develop account plans, negotiate contracts, analyze performance data, and collaborate with marketing, operations and finance to ensure flawless execution.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in key account management or FMCG sales for retail accounts.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex retail relationships.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and grow market share with key retail partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with buyers and decision-makers at major retail accounts.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, promotions and product placements to maximize revenue.
• Analyze sales performance data for key accounts to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
• Provide market feedback to brand and product teams to inform future strategies.
