Talentfuse seeks an experienced Process Plant Manager for a base metals processing facility in Vereeniging. This senior leader will drive safe, efficient, and profitable operations, ensuring optimal throughput and metal recovery while leading a large team of engineers, operators, and technicians.

The role requires a Metallurgical Engineering degree, 10+ years in mineral processing, and 5+ years in management, with strong process control, automation, and budget skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mining Engineering.
• 10+ years in mineral processing operations.
• At least 5 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Experience with base metals (e.g., copper, nickel, zinc) is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all plant operations including comminution, flotation, and refining for base metals.
• Ensure production targets, safety standards, and environmental regulations are met.
• Develop and manage operational budgets and maximize efficiency and yield.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team for continuous improvement.
• Maintain and improve maintenance and asset management programs for equipment.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, technical services, and mine planning departments.
