Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Metallurgical Plant Manager to lead their processing facility near Upington. The role focuses on safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations, delivering production and quality targets while directing a skilled team.

The ideal candidate has a strong mineral processing background, more than a decade in plant operations, with at least five years in senior management, and a proven track record of driving safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in metallurgical plant operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Proven track record of managing complex mineral processing operations.
• Strong understanding of metallurgical processes and equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive safety and operational excellence.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the metallurgical plant to ensure optimal performance and throughput.
