Placements24 is seeking an experienced Bank Teller Supervisor for our Benoni branch in Gauteng. The role oversees daily teller operations, trains staff, and ensures accurate transaction processing and outstanding customer service.

You will manage scheduling, monitor performance, ensure policy compliance, and assist with vault balancing and ATM replenishment, fostering a secure, productive branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a bank teller, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven experience in cash handling, balancing, and vault management.
• Strong understanding of banking operations and customer service principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and schedule bank tellers to ensure adequate branch coverage and service quality.
• Oversee daily branch operations, including cash management, transaction balancing, and security procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service, resolving inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor teller performance and provide coaching to improve efficiency and accuracy.
