Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd is seeking a skilled Sales Lead to manage and grow bakery sales across our region. The role focuses on developing and driving sales strategies, leading high-performing bakery teams, and improving revenue while maintaining cost efficiency.

You will identify growth opportunities, collaborate with marketing, and ensure excellent customer service through coaching and strong relationship-building with distributors and clients.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in FMCG sector.
• Degree or equivalent in Sales & Marketing.
• Experience leading sales teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive sales strategy for bakery products.
• Lead bakery sales teams to achieve targets and customer satisfaction.
• Drive growth by implementing strategies, streamlining distribution, and controlling costs.
• Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with marketing to position Premier as market leader.
• Ensure a low-cost distribution model with SOPs and KPIs for routes, crates, and returns.
• Foster customer satisfaction through coaching, training and issue resolution.
• Gather market data and competitors insights to inform tactics and plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
