Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will create the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients and drive early pipeline activity.

The role requires 2 years in SDR/BDR, familiarity with outbound tools, and strong written outreach. You will work remotely within South Africa and contribute to a fast-paced, target-driven

Qualifications

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.

What You Bring

• B2B sales experience preferred. Full-cycle closers who have carried a quota are welcome.
• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.
