MCI is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design and implement scalable data processes in Azure, integrating data from diverse sources and APIs. You will collaborate with analysts and scientists to transform data for business insights and drive data-driven decision making.

The role emphasizes building robust data pipelines, models, and warehouses, with a focus on performance, security, and collaboration across teams in a dynamic, global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• 5-7 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of working with Azure-based data solutions.
• Expertise in Azure data services, including Synapse and Data Factory.
• Advanced SQL skills for large-scale data manipulation and analysis.
• Proficiency in Python for data transformation and automation.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, ETL processes, and debugging.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with experience leading projects and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and manage data pipelines using Azure Synapse and Data Factory.
• SQL Query Expertise: Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets with advanced SQL.
• Python-based Data Transformation: Develop automation for data transformation.
• Data Modeling and Warehouse Management: Create data models and warehouse structures; work with Power BI data models.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance data pipelines and ETL processes for reliability.
• Data Security and Compliance: Uphold data security and regulatory compliance.
• Team Collaboration: Work with analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to align data infrastructure.
