Job summary

MCI is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design and implement scalable data processes within Azure infrastructure. You will integrate data from diverse sources, optimize ETL pipelines, and ensure data quality for analytic workloads.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and data modeling skills, with a focus on security and compliance. You will collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to drive innovation and impact across multiple business units, leveraging Power BI where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in data engineering with Azure-based data solutions; senior/lead experience desirable.
• Expertise in Azure data services, including Synapse and Data Factory.
• Advanced SQL skills for large-scale data manipulation and analysis.
• Proficiency in Python for data transformation and automation.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, ETL, and debugging.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse and Data Factory.
• Leverage advanced SQL to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets.
• Develop and automate data transformation processes using Python.
• Create and manage data models and warehouse structures optimized for querying and analysis.
• Monitor and optimize performance of ETL processes and databases.
• Uphold data security and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to align data infrastructure with business goals.
