Job summary

NTT DATA Deutschland is seeking an experienced Infrastructure, Database, Backup & Azure Cloud Migration Lead to provide operational management and hands-on delivery across infrastructure, database, and cloud environments. The role focuses on stability, security, performance and scalable architectures while guiding migrations to Azure and ensuring DR readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure operations, systems engineering, or infrastructure management.
• Proven experience administering Microsoft SQL Server and enterprise databases.
• Experience with enterprise backup, recovery and DR solutions.
• Proven track record in Azure cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Solid ITIL, change governance and operational best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Windows and Linux server environments and core infrastructure services.
• Lead Azure migration planning, testing and cutover activities.
• Manage backup, DR, and disaster recovery strategies and testing.
• Ensure security posture, patching and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to optimize costs and performance.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks for operations and configurations.
