Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment seeks a hands-on Azure Infrastructure Lead to own enterprise infrastructure, databases, backup, disaster recovery and cloud migration. Qualifications

• Matric and a degree or diploma in IT or related field
• Minimum 8 years in infrastructure operations, systems engineering or infrastructure management
• Proven enterprise backup, recovery and disaster recovery experience
• Hands-on Azure cloud migration in hybrid environments
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, networking and firewalls
• Experience with Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup and Entra ID
• PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation skills
• Understanding of ITIL, change management and operational governance

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Windows Server, Linux, virtualization and core infrastructure platforms

• Lead Azure migration projects — from assessment and dependency mapping through cutover and optimisation

We’re looking for a hands-on Azure Infrastructure Lead to take ownership of enterprise infrastructure, databases, backup, disaster recovery and cloud migration. This is a senior operational and technical leadership role for someone who can keep critical platforms stable today while driving the move to Azure tomorrow.You’ll manage Windows and Linux servers, SQL Server environments, virtualisation, storage, networking and security, while leading the assessment, planning and migration of workloads to Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate is comfortable with both day-to-day operations and strategic cloud delivery.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring
