Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a Manager Software Engineering to lead the delivery of scalable, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure for Africa Assurance Innovation and Digital. You will design, develop, test, implement and support innovative solutions, while guiding a team of developers and coordinating with analysts, PMs and leaders.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, architecture governance, security, and cost optimisation in an agile delivery environment,

Qualifications

5+ years in a software development role.
2+ years leading a high-performing development team (4+ people).
Strong hands-on design, development and deployment experience on Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Azure services (Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, SQL, Entra ID) and integration tech (APIs, Logic Apps).
Experience with Azure DevOps for work item tracking, source control and CI/CD.
Experience delivering in agile delivery environments.
Comfort communicating with junior developers, business analysts, PMs and executives.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, implement and support innovative Azure-based solutions.
Lead a team of junior developers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Drive cloud-native architectures with security, scalability and cost optimisation.
Develop and maintain technical and process documentation.
Assist with DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines across projects.
Provide guidance on process design and problem resolution.
Ensure high quality code and post-implementation support.
