Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of aviation safety management experience.
• Proven SMS development and regulatory compliance expertise (ICAO Annex 19, EASA, SA-CARs).
• Strong risk management, incident investigation, and data-driven decision skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities for training and cross-functional work.
• On-site availability in Vereeniging with hybrid flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels.
• Monitor compliance with national and international aviation regulations.
• Promote safety culture through leadership and engagement.
• Prepare safety reports for management and regulators.
