Bluespec Holdings is seeking an Aviation Safety Compliance Specialist to join a team in Sandton with a hybrid work setup. The role ensures adherence to national and international safety standards, develops and maintains the SMS, conducts audits, investigates incidents, and drives continual safety improvements across operations.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or certification in Aviation Safety, 5+ years in aviation safety and regulatory compliance, strong analytical skills, and

Formación

• Degree or professional certification in Aviation Safety Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in aviation safety and regulatory compliance.
• Deep knowledge of aviation safety standards and regulations (e.g., SACAA).
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with ability to identify systemic issues.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's SMS in alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct internal safety audits and inspections of procedures, facilities, and safety protocols.
• Investigate safety occurrences, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, airworthiness directives, and policies.
• Prepare and submit safety reports to regulators and management.
• Provide safety training and guidance to staff to foster a proactive safety culture.
