Placements24 is seeking an Aviation Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality control efforts in Sandton, Gauteng. You will establish and maintain the QMS to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and standards, overseeing inspections, audits, non-conformances, CAPA, and continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the aviation industry.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100) and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing Quality Management Systems.
• Strong audit, non-conformance management, and CAPA skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with aviation regulations and standards.
• Oversee and manage all quality assurance activities, including inspections, audits, and process reviews.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as those set by aviation authorities.
• Manage the non-conformance reporting and CAPA processes.
• Lead internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
• Train and mentor QA personnel, fostering a team committed to quality excellence.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality considerations into all aspects of operations.
• Prepare regular quality performance reports for senior management.
