Placements24 seeks a proactive Aviation Operations Coordinator to support flight operations and ground handling at our Queenstown facility in the Eastern Cape. This role combines on-site coordination with some remote administration to keep daily schedules running smoothly.

You will coordinate with flight crews, maintenance, ground staff and external agencies, manage flight plans, weather updates and airport procedures, and ensure compliance with aviation regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation operations, airline coordination, or related field.
• Strong understanding of flight operations, aircraft performance, and airport procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in aviation operational software and communication tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with diverse teams.
