Job summary

SAA Technical (SOC) Ltd seeks a Mechanic for its Technical Peak Season Pool in Kempton Park. The Aviation Technician will perform maintenance such as servicing, self-inspecting, repairs, overhaul, testing and basic troubleshooting on aircraft engines, airframes and components, following task cards and work instructions.

Compliance with SAAT manufacturers and regulatory authority requirements is mandatory. The position is contract-based, entry level, and part of the Airlines and Aviation

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance including servicing, self-inspecting, repairs and overhaul on aircraft engines, airframes and components.
• Test and perform basic troubleshooting and modifications as required by task cards and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with SAAT manufacturers and regulatory authority requirements for customer aircraft.
