Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our Line Maintenance team in Stellenbosch. You will perform routine checks, minor repairs and troubleshooting to ensure safe, on-time departures.

The ideal candidate holds SA-CATS license, has 3+ years of line or heavy maintenance experience, and can read manuals and schematics. A hands-on approach and commitment to safety and quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Aircraft Mechanic with SA-CATS or equivalent license.
• At least 3 years of line or heavy maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to read manuals and schematics and troubleshoot.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled line maintenance checks and inspections.
• Troubleshoot defects and rectify aircraft system faults.
• Document maintenance actions accurately in logs.
• Work with flight crews and dispatchers to ensure timely departures.
