Our client is seeking a capable and safety-conscious Aircraft Line Maintenance Technician to join their operational team in Mahikeng, North West. In this role, you will perform essential checks, servicing, and minor repairs on aircraft between flights, ensuring they are safe and ready for their next journey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine pre-flight, transit, and overnight inspections of aircraft to identify and rectify defects.
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, lubrication, and minor repairs on aircraft systems including engines, landing gear, and hydraulics.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults encountered during line operations, implementing timely repairs.
• Interpret technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and aircraft schematics to guide repair actions.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards set by the aviation authority.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Line Maintenance Technician or Mechanic with a strong background in airframe and engine systems.
• Familiarity with performing A-checks and other line maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and repair documentation relevant to various aircraft types.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment common in line maintenance.
