Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Systems Engineer in Benoni to design, integrate, and validate complex automotive systems. You will collaborate with software, hardware and testing teams to ensure performance and safety across powertrain, chassis or electronics domains.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in automotive systems engineering or similar role.
Knowledge of automotive architectures and component interactions.

Responsibilities

Define system requirements and architecture for automotive components and subsystems.
Develop and validate system designs and ensure integration with vehicle modules.
Create system specs, docs and test plans.
Conduct system-level testing and analyze issues.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams through development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to system performance.
Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262.
